DEAR COLLEAGUES,
STUDENTS, PHD STUDENTS, POSTGRADUATES AND
ACADEMIC STAFF OF THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE,
I am honoured to congratulate the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University - Sofia, all lecturers, students, PhD students, post-graduate students and staff of the Faculty of Medicine on the occasion of April 7 - the professional holiday of health professionals and World Health Day.
The Faculty of Medicine is proud of its doctors and lecturers, the people who give their work and knowledge every day to preserve and improve the health and lives of people.
Without the efforts and inspiration that our lecturers and scientists put into the educational process and the research work, without the patience, attention and care that our staff give to the students - the mission of the Faculty of Medicine - to educate competent and worthy doctors, to achieve valuable scientific results, to affirm the values of the Medical University -Sofia, will not be fulfilled.
Today I express my deep respect to all of you for your will and professionalism.
Dear students, I address all of you on the eve of this day and encourage you to continue making efforts in mastering the medical profession, to protect the name of our centuries-old educational institution and give yourself a chance to be good doctors.
I wish you health, strength and success in order to affirm the achievements of Medicine as well as contribute to the prosperity of the Faculty of Medicine and the Medical University - Sofia.
